Last year the Organization of Independent Media (OIM) launched the Media Excellence Committee. A panel of 5 members to judge and present the best of Europeian private media, which would meet every four months. It was a huge success, generating a lot of attention for private media outlets and authors, and became a helpful tool for reminding EuroChoice voters what media was worthy of their nomination and vote come EuroChoice 2020.
And now, we want to do it again! Last year the inaugural members were myself and GraVandius, but given his recent Leave of Absence, I will be the only inaugural member this year. If you were a member last year or if you are interested at all, you may apply by simply stating your interest in this thread, and we will take all qualified applicants (so determined by their media history) until all 5 spots are filled. We will get to work immediately on determining the best private media from the February-May period of 2021, so get ready for excellence!
