How are we sure HEM is a him, and not something else? Maybe he's a 72 year old woman from West Virginia who sold her kidneys to replace the liver that failed her after getting cholera from italian food.

Another Ticket?

Though Cordova and McEntire's potential bids don't seem to be coming to fruition, ENN reports that another ticket is in negotiations to enter the field. A relative newcomer and a long-time veteran member are considering offering a "radical" alternative to the status quo. Does the region have the appetite for a "radical" bid? The Other Election

With Elio a strong contender for the Presidency, rumor has it that senators are posturing to take over the Speakership. The public eye will be turning toward legislation as the Constitutional Convention kicks into gear. The new Speaker, should Elio win, will likely have influence over the direction of the convention and driving public support for reforms. Rumor has it that UPC will serve in Cabinet and therefore be off the table, leaving McEntire, Cordova, and PhDre as potential Speaker candidates.

That is, of course, if Elio defeats JayDee this Sunday.
 
Fashion News, or Fashion Ews?

According to a reliable source, Vice Delegate PhDre was seen sporting sandals and long socks during an important recent summit. Fellow leaders shared their concerns about how his peculiar fashion choices reflect on our region: "he should resign," said an anonymous source close to high-level officials in the Delegate's office.

Meanwhile, President UPC made a cultural faux-pas by eating Cheetos with chopsticks. "Everyone knows you eat Cheetos with a fork," a source in the Presidents office offered. "We simply cannot keep his bad habits in check, and it's starting to impact approval numbers. Someone needs to have a 'come to Nethel' moment with the President."

Finally, Vice President Grea Kriopia was caught on a hot mic criticizing the performance of Grand Admiral Sincluda. Unfortunately her remarks were too obscene to republish here.
