The "government" dropdown does not reflect Drecq's status as Speaker.
 
So last night during our radio broadcast Sopo appointed me Deputy Minister of Radio. Is it possible for me to get the Deputy Minister role?

Is it possible to remove the words "Become Newcomer of the Month!" from the description of the Newcomer's Hall.

Also could the Newcomer of the Month Awards thread could be archived or unpinned or whatever you feel the best way to remove it from prominence within the forum, that would be appreciated as well.

I think you need to request a username change yourself from the Preferences Pages. (You can also get there by clicking "Preferences" in the upper-right corner of the page.) "Change Username" is listed in the menu under Board Controls.

I believe such a request needs to be approved by an admin (to make sure it's nothing offensive or inappropriate, etc.), however, but I'll try to keep a look out for your request later today.

Mouse: we can change them without a request, I only discovered that recently.
