Sexiest Europeian of the Week #2

This week we sat down with the one and only Svunbrink. Fortunately being a kraken saved me from her vampiric powers.

Q: Welcome to the luxurious EBC recording studios. You are the winner of This Week's Sexiest Europeian. The contest isn't based on sexual merit, but if it was, what physical feature do you think you would have won it with?

A: Well I am unusually tall, but I would say, my giant boobs which have been rumoured to have their own centers of orbit.

Q: What do you enjoy about being in Europeia?

A: Just the General socialising, the people are nice and have a great sense of humour. Add to the fact that they let me get away with almost all of my antics.

Q: What would you change about Europeia?

A: Well I’m not really much for regional politics and legislating. Don’t get me wrong I know that stuff is important, after all most regions do need at least some form of bureaucracy but I just wish people in this region would just make a little time for us Roleplayers here. Just relax, take a break from your parliamentary duties which for the most part are probably frustrating anyway and have some fun as I figuratively destroy them. *Sinister smile*

Q: A large part of this column is getting to know the various members of our region. What are your hobbies IRL?

A: Well seeing it is summer over here, and it’s getting ridiculously hot, I have taken up regular swimming. But my regular hobbies would probably be the martial arts of Sambo and Krav Maga, Krav Maga I have taken up recently, but Sambo was mostly taught to me by my dad. But most of the time I meet up with friends, drink, and have rigorous debates over pop culture. Kind of like that youtube Channel cracked after hours.

Q: For those of us who don't practice martial arts what's the difference between Krav Maga and Sambo? Do you have a style you prefer?

A: Sambo is more for supressing your opponent absolutely, through a series of grabbles and twisting of joints to either break bones or damage internal muscle joints, developed by the Russian Spetznaz. Krav Maga is a type of guerilla street fighting developed by the Israeli Defence Force, pretty much almost the same, but has a higher emphasis on explosive hits and in some cases damaging pressure points.

I like both equally, actually. But I can't think of a reason why I would use them...Although I could preform a demonstration if you wish. *Sinister grin while licking lips*

With that we concluded the interview, before Svun got a little too carried away.

The region doesn't 'not' make room for Rpers, Svun. the region does nothing to rpers to impede them at all.

I think her wording was poor, but she meant to say that we should all give RPing a chance and take breaks from the politics every now and then to RP a bit.

That assumes people like RPing as much as politics. Which probably isn't true in a lot of cases.

I used to RP, but haven't done so in years.

I do, but I don't have time. :p And I'm very picky about my rps.
Coming from the guy that writes TES fan fiction in his spare time. :p Just saying, I can't imagine Hy or Skizzy throwing themselves into an RP, ya know?

Yes, because I find it rewarding both emotionally and mentally to write when I have ideas. I enjoy writing fanfiction, just as I enjoy RPing and politics, but I also have an RL I don't always enjoy. My free time, thus, is taken up by various fun activitities, but fanfiction is a commitment to complete a project.

I also write buffy the vampire slayer and angel the series fanfiction.

I'm aware, but you understand my meaning. I too often spend days writing things that will never see the light of day for most. But I can't imagine most, even a simple majority, of active users here would be that way.

And yet this shmuck has a girlfriend and I'm single. Go figure. :p

Which schmuck? Because I do too. :p

@Elias: That's the joy of fanfiction. You have a much higher chance of feedback. If you go back and read some of my earlier fanfics (the earliest have been deleted and are lost forever in the hardrives of two or three computers ago) and then my more recent ones, you can see the improvement, especially in my fanfic Magni Opi, Jarl of Blackreach and Iron Coin Chronicles (though both owe a lot to my respective Beta-readers for those two fics).

The way to be a better writer is to write. The next step is to get people, lots of people, to read it and then say what they think.

You'll get there one day, son. *hands Lethen a condom*

I'm not so concerned with lack of readership. I'm much more of an introvert and like to hide my things. SC writing is one of the few outlets that people actually see of mine. :p

Why do you think I have so many freely-available ERN puppets? :ph43r:

In all seriousness though, in high school I was working on (at the time) a 300-page novel. I don't even remember what it was about at this point. But it was crazy fucking long, and I think the only people that ever read it, partially or all the way through, were my AP Literature teacher and smoking-hot Composition instructor. :p
