(Europeia, January 17th, 2018) - Incumbent President Rach has won re-election to a second term as President. Despite originally rising to the position because of controversy, the President has enjoyed strong approval numbers and support from the public. President Rach and her running mate, distinguished Europeian Malashaan, ran unopposed and walked away with 58.6% of the vote. 41.4% of voters cast their ballots in favor of re-opening the nominations for President.
"This term is about improving what we already have, regaining our statistical and scientific mojo and applying a more scientific approach to governance," President Rach said in her opening remarks after taking office in the Goldenblock, the official residence of Europeia's president. "This term will be about experimenting on how we can improve all aspects of our region through recruitment telegrams, WA integration telegrams, WALL and applying a more statistical approach. "
The President's campaign was focused on the theme of "Three Arrows": improving infrastructure, improving the Interior ministry, and implementing mass culture. The more specific points of her plan include renovating the Tomlinson Discord server, improving the Internship Program, revising mass telegrams and the Newcomer's Handbook, and promoting larger community projects.
The Senate has confirmed the following Cabinet for the term:
