Party Politics Scrambled

It has happened before, and it has happened again. Party Politics in Europeia has been turned upside down. Today, Former Senator HEM, and Senator Lexus annouced their intentions to create a new Nationalist Party which will focus on giving more authority to the Executive, and increasing authority and power of the military.
Various other progressive reforms are being considered by the new party, and a fairly solid Platform has been posted. However, defections and considered defections are happening left and right. Interest in the new party has come from all three other ones, the Conservative Party in particular has taken some defections to the new party. The Liberal Party has had some interested members, while the Union Party may completly implode, keeping the three party system the same.
However, rumors or merge deals are already on the air-waves. And even what seems to be clear now, may not be very soon. It may be several days before anybody is certain if a Plurality or Majority of the Senate will be able to be claimed by any party.
