Senate By-Election
Citizens took to the polls recently to vote on the vacant Senate position. By the conclusion of the poll, Bowzin had achieved the most votes with 50.0 percent in total. Olde Delaware followed Bowzin with 21.4 percent of the vote. Due to both candidates being unable to gain over 50.0 percent of the vote, a run off is being held between Bowzin and Olde Delaware, with an apparent reversal of preference so in favour of Olde Delaware, for reasons not necessarily obvious. Olde Delaware did ultimately emerge victorious, claiming 59.1 percent of the vote.

Executive Satisfaction Poll
The Europeian Broadcasting Corporation (EBC) held a poll earlier this month to determine how successful the executive have been in their work and what could be done to improve. Overall satisfaction was very high with 37 percent of citizens strongly approving and 48 percent of citizens approving of the work of the executive. The domestic executive received slightly higher overall approval ratings than did the foreign executive, although both results were excellent. Notable in the poll results was continuing strong support for First Minister Pichtonia, who received the highest number of nominations to run for first minister once more next term and whom 77.7 percent of respondents said they would be at least likely to support.

Recruitment and Radio Resignation
Earlier this week Deputy First Minister Astrellan released an article discussing the uncertainty and slow start to work in the Ministry of Recruitment and the Ministry of Radio. Readers will be aware of Acapais resigning, followed by the resignation of Carathetopia and most recently the resignation of ex-Senator Snowball. These ministries also have low approval ratings, with only 29.6 percent and 44.4 percent of citizens stating that they approve of the work done in these departments respectively.

Weekend Games Winners
The EBC wishes to congratulate those that competed in the recent weekend games, which were won overall by Olde Delaware; remember that upcoming weekend games will be announced by the Ministry of Culture soon.

Update from the Council of Foreign Affairs
Councillor of Foreign Affairs Darcness released a statement earlier in the week, in which the councillor explained the situation regarding Whitmark's resignation and the fact that due to the little time remaining in the current term, the councillor will not be searching for a replacement. The Council of Foreign Affairs has also announced an outline for dispatches for a new foreign update. The Council of Foreign Affairs has also released a list of allied nations and their Europeian ambassadors.

Minister of Communications announcement
Earlier this week Minister of Communications Maowi made an important announcement and appointed Istillian as Deputy Minister of EBC Editorials due to his dedicated, generous and skilful help. The EBC wishes to congratulate Istillian on this new appointment.

Xecrio, thank you! You're truly mastering these updates, well done!

Another wonderful update! Bowzin's first percentage is off, though, he got a flat 50% in the first round.

I feel like all the action in The East Pacific should've gotten a mention ;)

Otherwise, great job as always. I love reading these.
