Europeia Commended

(October 22, 2017) In the early hours of the morning, residents of the World Assembly received notice that a region known as Europeia had been officially commended. This region, our region, has stood as a beacon of strength and Independence, and today we all reap the rewards of ten years of dedication.
Following the passage of the resolution to commend Europeia, Minister of World Assembly Affairs (MOWAA) Sanctaria made an announcement to the Republic. He touched on the dedication of everyone within this region towards earning this commendation, and congratulated everyone for a reward well received. Commenting on the many areas in which Europeia has excelled that finally earned them a commendation. “We didn’t set out on our journey with a Commendation as a prize, we set out to ensure that our citizenry had a home they could call welcoming, active, independent, and community-driven; a place of excellence, and a benchmark for others to follow.”
Citizens of Europeia all announced their elation at the reception of the news. Most notable of those expressing their assent was Minister of Radio Sopo, who went as far as to call Europeia his home. “Europeia is a special corner of the internet and a home for so many. It may just be a badge, but it represents 10 years of dedication, community, and excellence. Cheers!” Many within the region share these sentiments; ten years of dedication to community has truly earned a commendation for Europeia.
