  • The Reich Elector and World Assembly Delegate of The New Inquisition resigned from his posts in TNI after being slated for removal due to his inactivity. Citing connectivity issues and other technical problems, Mr. Sebastian resigned with apologies and more than a little evident soreness. Joshua IX, former Reich Chancellor and Reich Elector, looks to be the favorite to succeed Mr. Sesbastian in a vote by the Reichstag.
  • In Modor, Karputsk, the Witch King of the Nazgul Council, the Head of Government for that region, has selected his cabinet. Despite being a partisan of the White Wizard, rather than the Dark Lord - the two Heads of State of Mordor - his cabinet appears balanced.
  • In Ainur, convicted criminal Bayard has been pardoned by the High King after serving what the High King deems an 'adaquate' amount of time banned from the region and forums.
  • In Kantrias, Caldemar has been elected WA Delagate in a 7-2 vote over the formidable and eternal politician Abstain and his good friend None of the Above.
  • In The South Pacific, The South Pacific Independant News Network is looking for a new Editor-in-Chief. They are also debating a reform to Delegate Elections.

December 2nd, 2012
  • In The New Inquisition, two regions, Josesa and Pergamon were captured on the Saturday Minor. The election of Joshua IX for Reich Elector continues uninterrupted, and a recent controversy about the Kaiserin's delay in granting citizenship applications appears to have died down, mostly. Elections for a new WA Delegate there have opened.
  • In Mordor, there is an effort to anethmatize Aule, the White Wizard, from his position on the Nazgul Council. Thus far, despite the Dark Lord's support for the effort, things appear to breaking Aule's way, with a 6-3 vote in favor of keeping him on the Council.
  • A Citizenship Act is being debated in Ainur. The essence of the law appears largely similar to Europeia's, though not entirely or exactly so in the specifics.
  • In Kantrias, a debate about a possible 'Search Warrant' law, fell down in flames. A debated Classification of Information Act meets some opposition from anti-royalists in the region, and discussion of creating a Bar Association and an Attorney General position has been underway for some time.
  • In The South Pacific, nominations for the December Elections have begun, despite talks to eventually move said elections to Janurary. Longstanding Delegate Hielville will not be running for re-election as Delegate, but will be running for MoFA. Unibot has been nominated for Chair of the Assembly. Numerous other nominations and acceptances have been tossed around.
  • In The North Pacific Deputy Speaker of the Regional Assembly Kiwi has stepped down from their post. Unibot's analysis of the recent delegate special elections based on his famous Gameplay Alignment Test has sparked a (largely) civil discussion about statistics, their value, and what people look for in candidates.

  • In The New Inquisition 11 Regions were captured in one long tag-raiding operation by TNIAF. An amendment to the Parliamentary Democracy System introduced fairly recently is underway, clearing up language, and possibly changing the nature of it - a bit. How it will change thins is still up for debate.
  • In Kantrias, elections for the Second Senate have begun, with candidates from all three parties, the Conservative Party, the Moderate Party, and the Insanity party, running, as well as three independants. With 36 hours left in just the standing period, who knows what will happen? Additionally, on the 3rd, Minister of the Interior Caldemar was named a Viscount by the King in honor or his massive recruitment achievements.
  • In Ainur, the Foreign Minister, Avakael Diablessa has stepped down, citing his personal conflict with Halcones of TBR, which he fears will have a backlash on Ainur.
  • In Military News, the TBR-led, Brotherhood of Malice & Kantrias supported occupation of Glass Gallows protectorate Ether continues well apace.
  • In The South Pacific nominations for the December elections continue, including our own HEM being nominated for Minister of Regional Affairs.

December 10th, 2012
  • In Kantrias, the Senate Elections have ended, with the Conservative, Moderate and Insanity Parties each picking up one seat, and the Independant Eliora Lockwood getting in as well. A run-off between Insanity's Roman Pearce and Independant Christian Wright has begun for the last seat.
  • In The New Inquisition, by-elections for a new Reichstag Member following the removal of Delegate Qor Yizhan for inactivity have started voting. Keib of the New Progressive Coalition, the successor to the Sanity Party is leading in the exit polls over Independant Bryan von Richtofen by a wide margin. Home Office reform, under way for some time, is mostly complete.
  • In Ainur, a fairly bare-bones Criminal Code draft has been rejected, and Alexander Vinage is being tasked with writing a better draft for consideration. Bryan von Richtofen has been named the new Foreign Affairs Minister by First Minister Seven Deaths. Drecq has been named the new Minister of Welcoming and Naturalization, after the Interior Ministry was split into that, and the Ministry of Recruitiment.
  • In Balder, Solm was removed from the Rikstag for inactivity, but has appealed his removal. A trial is under way.
  • In Osiris, Medjai Guard is celebrating its capture of Persian Empire on the 9th and its capture of Warzone Europe the day before.
  • In The South Pacific, an Omnibus Charter Amendment Bill is under debate, to streamline certain procedures. Elections continue, with HEM running for MoRA on a platform favoring heavy Integration efforts and Drugged Monkeys running on an interregional ad campaign to "get some fresh blood onto the forums." A slight contoversy about Delegate candidate God Emperor's comments towards candidtate Milograd appears to have hurt GE's electoral chances.
  • In The North Pacific, special elections for Associate Justice have opened with nominations. A discussion of ways to reform the WA voting procedures without making it only nations that have a WA in TNP is under-way.

  • The Prince of Wales, of The British Isles is on a State Visit to Kantrias, enjoying a tour of the region as well as tea in the Palace with the King and Queen of Kantrias. The King of Kantrias has in turn gone on a State Visit to The British Isles. He recently gave a speech to Parliament, expressing his hope for long-term friendship between the two regions.
  • In The New Inquisition, the Reich Elector plans to introduce a plan to bring back the so-called "Great Offices of State" sometime this week.
  • In Balder, the debate over Solm's removal from the Riksdag continues, with the appeal revolving around the definition of business, in terms of business before the Riksdag.
  • In Osiris, the Medaji Guard liberated one region with the RRA and another with the UDL.
  • In The South Pacific voting in the elections continues.

Janurary 11th, 2013
  • In The New Inquisition, the by-election to fill a vacated Reichstag Seat was plagued with problems in the first run of polls, including technical difficulties and pollworker error. After Electoral Commissioner Dominus Aurelius was roused from his slumber to correct his previous error, the election seems to be proceeding niceley. Independant Newcomer to politics MagentaFairy leads over The New Progressive Coalition's Cerian Quilor by 10-6, with the Primrose League's Kaiserissac trailing behind at 1.
  • In Kantrias The Conservative Party saw a resurgance, finally adding a second seat to its holdings in the Senate, while the Moderate Party lost its seat in the Senate. The elections for Senate Speaker remained tied up behind two-time Speaker Jimothy Wright, Chairman of the Conservative Party, and Christian Wright, independant and High Tribunal Justice.
  • In Ainur, there is debate over a law to provide for government of Ainur in the absence of both the High King and Crown Prince. Certain provions about the nature of the proposed 'regency council' have led to the King to announce he'll veto the law if it is passed. The Standing/Campaigning Period for the Speaker of the Citizens Assembly has begun, with elections to be held on the 15th-16th.
  • In Osiris, Tim, the New Sobek of the Medaji Guard has announced a general continuation of the region's raiding and defending activity and the continuation of a moderate policy when on raids. The sole exception from a recent speech is "except for those [raids] on Nazis. Nazi Regions can burn."
  • In The Founderless Regions Alliance, the Europeian Republican Navy, alongside The Black Riders, The Black Hawks, Cat Burglars and The New Inquisition Armed Forces, has been nominated for the Blackbird Award, given to the best Invader Group of 2012.
  • In The South Pacific, The MoFA is shopping around for a Deputy.
 


January 13th, 2013
  • In The New Inquisition, MagentaFairy, Independant, beat out Cerian Quilor (New Progressive Coalition) by a vote for 11-10, uniting her high levels of popularity due to her cheerful and friendly demeanor and the Primrose League's decision to support her over the NPC candidate (entirely understandable) to achieve victory.
  • The Senate in Kantrias has passed the Citzenship Removal Act, which empowers the Crown to remove the citizenship of inactive citizens who don't have a nation in the region anymore. Jimothy Wright of the Conservative Party won election to a Third Term as Speaker.
  • In Ainur, a debate has begun to decide if the First Minister should be prevented from also being the Speaker of the Citzen's Assembly.
  • In Security Council News, the effort to repeal 'Condemn True North' continues to falter in the face of minimal support. An effort to insta-repeal (or as close as possible) 'Condemn Hippostania' has begun.
  • In Military News, during last nights Major, a TBH-led effort, which included forces from The Black Hawks, The Black Riders, Unknown, Kantrias and Ainur saw the capture of South Pacific. A liberation was attempted during the minor, but failed. The Defenders did have an impressive showing of 23 units.
  • In The North Pacific, a nation called 'The Liberation Council' has attempted to wage an undendorsement campaign on the Delegate and Vice Delegate. It has failed.
  • Krulltopia, of The Pacific has announced several changes to his region, including a new charter, and a reorganization of the Senate. Around the same time there was a renovation of the Forums, which included a shut-down of said forums. The announcement can be seen in its entirity Here
  • The South Pacific is debating the merits of adding some form of currency to its region.
