Competitive Senate Field
Written By HEM

This issue will detail the Senate candidates, and will state the likelihood of election.:

Lethen - Strong Retain

Lethen is considered a founder of Europeia. He has seniority in the region matched only by HEM himself. Despite his often controversial stances, he is respected by everyone in the region, and will easily keep his seat.

Anumia - Strong Retain

Anumia's independant status won him the most votes last election. Seen as an able minded (albeit 'old fashioned') public servant. He is a shoe-in for the next election.

Asianatic - Favored Retain

Asianatic is one of the most viewable and reliable faces in Europeia. We predict that her visibility as a former President will launch her back into the Senate without too much trouble. Despite the increasingly partisan atmosphere, Asianatic is a moderate oriented politician who is respected by both sides of the aisle.

Cordova - Favored Retain

Should the Senior Senator somehow be bamboozled out of the Presidency, it is likely he should retain his seat.

HEM - Leans Pickup

HEM has become an increasingly controversial figure in Europeia politics. Not having held a Senate seat in a few terms, it is uncertain if the electorate will send the Chancellor back to the Senate, but he certainly has the edge over some newer members.

Aramor - Leans Retain

Aramor has the staunch backing of the EFP political machine, and as Chairman he will be a priority in keeping in the Senate. But his popularity outside the Federalists is shaky, especially among EFP-breakoff members lead by Macronamia who might want to replace Aramor with one of their own. Aramor has an edge, but not too much of one.

Kabanatuanistan - TOSSUP

Kabanatuanistan is a blunt spoken, and legislatively silent Senator. Kabanatuanistan is being nipped at the heels by members who want something *more* out of their legislative representatives. It is uncertain if he will garner the support to cling to his seat.

Macronamia - TOSSUP

The Former Junior Senator was elected twice in Europeia, but some voters are still bitter about him running out on them for a fancy spancy French trip. Being an independant, he will have support from many different places, but can he add it all together to win a seat?

Oliver Grey - TOSSUP

A new member with very little Europeian experience. But his status as a competent and strong member of the Commonwealth, aswell as his ability to debate Europeian issues this early suggests he has more than a 'whisper of a wish.'

Rezaxushan - TOSSUP

Rezaxushan has a base of support as shown from his attempted Mayoral run. He has been a hard worker since his entrance in Europeian politics, and may get some cross party line votes. But will it be enough to launch him into the Senate? His radical stances on separation of branches turns many people off of a Senator Rezaxushan.

Ryanotia - Leans Against

Ryanotia has done much work to rebound his image since Russia-gate. However, his endorsement of staunch separation of branches policy may prove to plague him as much as Rez.

Kazaman - Leans Against

Kazaman is seen a competent worker, however he is clearly seen as putting Europeian second to other regions he participates in. It will be an uphill challenge to convince Europeia otherwise.

Cary - Favored Against

Cary has built up a base of support in all his Senate runs, but we predict he will countinue to fall well short of what he needs to be elected.

Again, another informative and well-written article from the most trusted news source in Europeia.

An interesting article. I'll be intrigued to see how much this matches up with the election results in a few weeks.

Cary's is the most accurate though. :p

Anumia - Strong Retain

Anumia's independant status won him the most votes last election. Seen as an able minded (albeit 'old fashioned') public servant. He is a shoe-in for the next election.
I'm a BOOT-in! Haven't you seen Italy? :p

...a good issue. :)
