[At Home In Europeia] Life In Europeia

Life In Europeia
A Small Introduction

Written by Xecrio

Introduction
Europeia is a huge online community that has dramatically increased in popularity over the past few days. With all the newcomers, some of whom may never have played NationStates before, this article is designed to perform as a little window into what life is like in one of NationStates’ biggest regions. Europeia currently boasts an impressive 1,628 nations (at the time of writing, an increase of roughly 800 since April 13.) Both sides of the region has seen a dramatic influx of new nations swarming the RMB with over 1,000 messages per day. Citizenship applications have been in such demand that Lethen no longer has the power to process them as quickly as normal. Citizens of Europeia are lucky that this region has so much to offer, and although each citizen is only one in many, there is plenty of opportunity to place your mark on the history of Europeia.

The Forums
The forums can be seen as the homepage of Europeia. The energy and communication makes it one of the places to be. There is so much to get involved with; whether that’s council and ministry work or spam games, the forum is definitely worth the visit. The forums offer an escape from real world drama where instead of worrying about your taxes, you worry about how many spam points you have.

Discord
Discord is the life of the party in Europeia. There are plenty of people to meet and chat to and find out more about Europeia. Aside from chatting, you can engage in Europeia's weekend games, which are a great way to wind down the week. A lot of ministry work occurs on discord, so you can get involved with your ministry colleagues and engage in the work.

RMB
Lastly, the Regional Message Board, while not used frequently by well-known citizens, has seen a huge boom in the number of messages, especially with Roleplay posts among new residents. This is where citizens can engage with the question of the day and is often the first place newcomers come to ask questions. Older citizens are more than happy to help the new ones out.

Closing Remarks
Europeia isn't just a place to hang out, it's a place to explore new ideas, to learn new things, and to grow as a person. Whether you're new or old, Europeia is the life of the party. Life here can be rather hectic and often it feels like there's too much going on at once. Just make sure that when you sign up to do something you don't overload yourself with things to do.

Nice work Nate, particularly now we're getting Drewling-wave #2!!

Well written Nate - and very good timing too! Nice to see this kind of thing here for newcomers needing an overview of what everything is!
