The EBC has fallen into disrepair over the last few terms. While it has been one of the major projects of the Culture Ministry, finding quality writers and staff as well as dedicated leadership has been trying; the quality has suffered. The role of the EBC is to be the Government's mouthpiece - to speak for the Government, on behalf of the Government and provide the news from the Government as well as the wider NationStates world. There will still be opinionated reviews of Government policy by approved reporters, but we will also re-introduce general opinion pieces (along the lines of the popular "A Taste of Skizz") and other elements that are common in many newspapers.
Now I am requesting that only approved reporters and invited guests may post articles here so, if you are interested in contributing to the EBC, sign up in this thread. If you have previously worked for the EBC or signed up in that thread, please sign up again.
