The Senate election is right around the corner. As pollsters get ready to cast their votes later today, 4,000 Words conducted one final poll to get a more accurate picture of where each candidate stands going into the election. There were only 19 respondents who took this poll; this is maybe because we only kept this poll open for a little over 24 hours.

We first asked the respondents to indicate how big of a Senate they would like to see. Readers should note that there was a fault in the poll since a seven-seat Senate is not possible. The majority of poll takers voted for a five-seat Senate, 47.4%. 31.6% of respondents stated they would like a six-seat Senate, and 21.1% voted for seven seats, though because this is not possible, we have taken this to mean “other.” Based on these results, we can determine that Europeians would prefer a smaller Senate, perhaps because Senate work could get done quicker that way. As such, this article will be based on a five-person Senate.

Next, we look at how each candidate performed in this poll. SkyGreen, who was the frontrunner in the last survey, confirms his position in this category with 100% of the vote. Lloenflys came second, three votes behind on 84.2%, while Xecrio received 78.9% of the vote. Baobab and Lime tied with 12 votes out of 19, as did JayDee and Bronyleader who each received 36.8% each. Emperor Kharn falls in the last place with four votes out of 19. The pollsters that responded to this poll are only a fraction of the voters out there, and there are plenty of votes still left to steal. GOTVing and campaigning in the final few hours will prove crucial to the race.

4,000 Words is ready to make some projections. We can project that SkyGreen24, Lloenflys, and Xecrio will win a seat in the Senate. We are unable to predict the last two seats, but we estimate that a run-off may be likely for the fourth or fifth seat.
