Based on a convo I walked in, Boatymcboatface and Kieranbannen jokes aside I always wondered how a real Europeian Navy would measure up. A region of Europeia's size would sport a navy on par with that of major NATO combatants such as the United States, United Kingdom or France. As the region is primarily naval in its positioning of its military, that means Europeia would field a navy that would consist of at least 10 carrier battle groups.

So...then how do we name them? Conventionally, carriers are named for major political leaders such as Presidents or politicians who have worked to better the navy. Based on that, I have come up with the following classes of Carrier and names for ships.

Newest class of Carrier: Sloth class Aircraft Carrier (replacing Lexus class Carriers)

ERNS Sopo - Lead Ship of class (CVN-10)

Under Construction:
ERNS Holy Ekaj Monarchy (CVN-11)
ERNS Istillian (CVN-12)
ERNS TBA (CVN-13)

Writinglegend class Aircraft Carrier

ERNS Kuramia (CVN-9)
ERNS Calvin Coolidge (CVN-8)
ERNS Common Sense Politics (CVN-7)
ERNS Writinglegend (CVN-6) - Lead Ship of Class

Lexus class Aircraft Carrier

ERNS Asiatic (CVN-5)
ERNS Pineapleboy (CVN-4)
ERNS Cordova I (CVN-3)
ERNS Pope Lexus (CVN-1)- Lead Ship of Class
ERNS Lethen (CVN-2)

So if carriers are named for Presidents and major political leaders, what about other ships? Well, in the modern era Submarines have been named for states, an honor that used to be reserved for battleships. Major surface combatants such as Cruisers, Destroyers and Frigates are usually named for places, battles and major award recipients such as medals of honor and navy cross. For Euro, I've broken that down to the following: Former Grand Admirals for Submarines and cities and/or major political leaders overall for ships. As Euro is a in game powerhouse, it makes sense that Euro would field at least 24-48 SSBN (Ballistic Missile Submarines) of at least three classes. One class that is being replaced with a modern class and the modern class which will be replaced by the upcoming class.

With that in mind, the classes i've gone with are 18 Kraketopia class SSN/SSGN (Gradually phasing out) 18 Dakota class SSBN (Current)(Modern), 6 Peeps class SSBN (Under Construction)

For major surface combatants, Euro would have at least 60 to 80 ships of each class. To save my sanity, these are the names for those classes:

Current Cruiser class (Carrier escort, Anti Air/Anti Ship): Malashaan class Cruiser
Under Construction: Comrade Prim class Cruiser
Current Destroyer class (Anti Air/Anti Ship/Anti Sub): Drecq class Destroyer
Under Construction: Pichtonia class Destroyer
Current Frigate class (Anti-Air and Anti Submarine Ship): Darcness class Frigate
Under Construction: Dax class Frigate
Corvette (Patrol Ship): Arnhelm class Corvette (Under Construction)

So with this in mind, what does a modern Europeian battlegroup look like? Well take a gander at this Order of Battle.

ERNS Sopo - (Carrier)(Flagship)
ERNS Malashaan (Cruiser)
ERNS Crystal Falls (Cruiser)
ERNS Drecq (Destroyer)
ERNS Deepest House (Destroyer)
ERNS Darcness (Frigate)
ERNS Independent (Frigate)
ERNS Kraketopia (SSGN)
ERNS Dakota (SSN)

I am very sad that you failed to include ERN Europeia or ERN Arnehlm! They exist! And wow, the Crystal Falls Naval Base still exists.
