Minister Profiles: Meet the Cabinet
Meeting the new slate of ministers for the fourth UPC administration

Returning from last term due to positive reception, the EBC is presenting you the newly confirmed cabinet of UPC's fourth term in office! Since this term is about raising new leadership, we've two brand-new ministers to introduce. Strap in and get ready to Meet the Cabinet!
Attorney General - @SkyGreen, Joined Europeia in 2018
 | Entering the Attorney General's office this term is SkyGreen. Ending his tenure as the Minister of World Assembly Affairs for two terms, SkyGreen returns to the whole he last filled in April 2022 under the then Writinglegend/Sincluda administration. SkyGreen completed four legislative assessments during his term, and scored a 52% satisfaction rating (old rating method), with other voters going for the tradition of voting Neutral on the AG. A former Vice President, and (very briefly) President, SkyGreen is no stranger to taking charge in office, and has started his term with a blast by continuing his preferred AG theming of a neo-noir detective. SkyGreen will be tasked with "[being] very proactive about encouraging staffers to follow ongoing legal debates in the Senate and begin the process of drafting Legislative Assessments early," as promised by the current President. |

Minister of Culture - @Sarah, Joined Europeia in 2021
 | Returning to the Culture Ministry's management is once again Sarah. Sarah achieved success in the role last term under the same administration with regular games, trivia, challenges, quizzes, and more. She scored a 95% net approval rating at the last satisfaction poll at mid-term for her performance. Sarah will be continuing much of the same this term according to the President, as well as engaging the ministry in preparations for a Halloween festival soon. Sarah's extensive history and accolades were somewhat discussed in the previous entry in this series from last term, so go give that a look if you'd like to learn more! |

Minister of Gameside - @Caldrasa, Joined Europeia in 2024
 | Entering the Europeian Cabinet for the first time in their career is Caldrasa, previously already a deputy for the ministry of Gameside. Being a heavy contributor to last term's ministerial work, most notably the Questions of the Day Prompts, Caldrasa has been able to learn from former Minister of Gameside @Andusre to take up the role this term. Andusre scored positively in the ministry with his work, scoring 85% net approval in the last poll. This term will show whether Caldrasa is able to continue that good work in the ministry, where the President has indicated they want to "promote awareness of and communication between our onsite and offsite communities via This Week In Europeia and other means," as well as "drive staff growth and engagement in our Ministry of Gameside Affairs." Ambitious goals face our first-time Minister of Gameside this term, so be sure to sign up to the ministry this term to help out! |

Grand Admiral - @Andusre, Joined Europeia in 2020
 | Our former GAmeside minister is now our GA, as it happens. Andusre was recently promoted in the Europeian Republican Navy to the rank of Captain, finally making his entry into Naval Command after "being the senior sailor in many operations and writing numerous reports, including the one for Kelios' liberation," according to former Grand Admiral @Sincluda. Speaking of, Sincluda kept the navy in good shape according to poll respondents from the mid-term, granting him 95% net approval for his performance. Andy will be looking to match that high bar of success this term by "[maintaining] strong presence in defender operations both during and between updates, [discussing] and possibly [implementing] a one org policy, [and pushing] for increased creation and maintenance of sleepers," according to the President. Known abroad as the Governor of Thaecia, Andy made his entry in to the Europeian military back in March 2021, joining under then Grand Admiral @Peeps with experience from Thaecian and East Pacifican militaries under his belt. While not consistently active since then, Andy has stepped up his game lately according to our former Grand Admiral and current President, with which he's earned his spot at the near-top of our Navy. |

Minister of Foreign Affairs - @Sincluda, Joined Europeia in 2021
 | After a successful term in the Grand Admiralty (as described above), Sincluda will be taking on Foreign Affairs for the first time. An active contributor already in The Watch and member of the EAAC, Sincluda is no new face to Europeian FA. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs introduced the Explorers of NationStates programme last term under @Istillian after former Minister @Sopo resignation. For the coming term, Sincluda is tasked with continuing the aforementioned programme, as well as "[bringing] Europeian media abroad through both onsite and offsite avenues of communication, [and coordinating] a response to Lone Wolves United with our allies," according to the President. Sincluda has served as Vice President of Europeia as well as a strong candidate for the Presidency from past runs. Seems like we can expect some excitement from FA this term! |
"I can't wait to see what I can do in this new role. FA has always been one of the more mysterious areas of the region, and while I've been behind the curtain for a while now, it'll be an interesting experience to lead the Ministry for the first time." - Sincluda
Minister of Outreach - @Istillian, Joined Europeia in 2019
 | As mentioned already, Istillian served as the region's MoFA last term after the previous minister's regination. Istillian has extensive experience in the Europeian executive, having served important functions in the Cabinet before with great success in the Navy, Communications, and Foreign Affairs. You can read about their accolades in more detail in their World Assembly Commendation. This term, however, Istillian will be leading Outreach for his first time. Using our tech to our advantage, Istillian is supposed to collaborate with some of our allies who have opted to use our recruitment bot, as well as re-introduce Welcoming through another UPC script. Finally, recruitment telegram analysis is on the task list for our Minister of Outreach this term. |
"I am very stoked to be tackling a new role in Europeia, and of course, to be remaining in Cabinet too! UPC and GK have placed a lot of trust in my hands, and while we do have a hefty amount of goals for the coming term, I know we've got a great team to get us there. As an absolute board game nerd, designing games and implementing fun competitions for our recruiters is what I'm most excited about, but overall I'm really hoping to boost the morale of the ministry, and show the fun that can come alongside recruiting!" - Istillian
Minister of World Assembly Affairs - @Cyborg, Joined Europeia in 2024
 | Alongside Caldrasa, Cyborg is our second first-time minister of this Cabinet. The Ministry of World Assembly Affairs has seen Cyborg's contributions by Information For Voters (IFVs) threads last term, the quality of which was sufficient to grant them a nomination for the role after moving SkyGreen to the Attorney General's Office, who succeeded as MoWAA the past two terms with a most recent net approval rating of 95%. The MoWAA, through the Europeian World Assembly Cabal (EWAC), played a crucial role in the WA-related FA goals of the administration. Cyborg is tasked with continuing the good work in the ministry with IFV production and staff engagement, EWAC activity, as well as "encourage domestic authorship of both GA and SC resolutions when possible," according to the President. |

Minister of Media - @Vor, Joined Europeia in 2016
 | A pillar of Europeia's executive government, Vor returns to the Cabinet this term as Minister of Media, an expansion of his previous role as Minister of Communications. His new portfolio includes both the Ministry of Communications, which handles written media, and the Ministry of Radio. Vor is a well-known name in Europeia, thanks to his recent candidacy for President as well as his accolades for leading the Europeian Republican Navy (ERN) and the Ministry of Interior. Notably, his leadership of the Navy during a time of war resulted in his Triumph and elevation to honoured citizen. Hopefully, he can keep the momentum going as Minister of Media! |
