Minister of Justice Townhall
Written by Name Snowball

Attorney General Rand has finished his townhall, with topics ranging from what he has done to the Law Clerk Program. Sopo hosted this EBC radio townhall.

When asked about his accomplishments in the term thus far, Rand jokingly answered he had done "Absolutely nothing" but then changed his statement to say that he worked on many court cases, and started the Daily Challenge initiative. He also said that the banning of George M was in part his doing. He strongly encouraged all Europeians to subscribe to the Daily Challenge initiative forum. Rand commented on the grueling work he has had to complete as the Attorney General, but he has, for the most part, thoroughly enjoyed his position as Attorney General.

When asked what he wants to do with the Law Clerk program, Rand stated that he wants to train future Attorney Generals to fulfill his position.. When pulling for people to join the program, he said that law clerks learn the law and help influence presidential decisions on bills.

According to Rand, the Attorney General position is being used to its fullest extent; with the expansion, the department has now been considered a full ministry. The Ministry of Justice is composed of the Law Clerks lead by the Attorney General himself..

Rand surprised some by saying that the courts were afraid to answer questions about the law. He said that while we have a vast law index, some of it is never used.

When asked about the role of the ministry, Rand replied that the Justice Ministry is the only ministry that is completely objective and has no policies. He said that everything that the department does is completely objective. He changed the Legislative recommendations to endorse" from "recommends to sign" to ensure the Ministry of Justice stays that way.
