ELP Cries Fowl
Written By Jack Cafferty

The rising star that was the ELP, hasn't fallen, but has been slapped around a little.

The Europeian Union Party and the Conservatives have annouced a coalition at the Presidential level. Not long after, not unexpectedly, the Liberals blew up. Champagne Jam posted a long speech about how it was undemocratic to form a coalition. And it was backroom dealing of the worst kind.

However, the coalition was not secret. It was approved of by almost all members of both parties, and it was annouced before the election period even started. However, the real reason the Liberals are angry is because this means their uphill road, has gotten alot steeper.

"At this point, all three parties have about even amounts of members" says Gloria Borger, "Two thirds, against one third isn't good odds."

And it isn't. Which is why the harsh and powerful outrage from the ELP is so understood.

Wolf Blitzer remarks, "For the liberals to even tie up the game, they will have to get 16% of the coalition vote. Plus independents. Thats not going to be easy."

However, the ELP got to their powerful position largely by having Champagne Jam be the underdog being beat up by the big bad establishment, which means, that they have a chance in the election, if the portray this coalition as doing the same thing.

I wrote it wrong for a reason. :p
