End of Term Executive Satisfaction Poll Analysis
Results and Analysis

Written by Giovanniland

A few days before the voting for the April 2021 presidential election, the Europeian Broadcasting Corporation (EBC) created a poll asking citizens about their opinions on the Executive's performance throughout the term. The poll was open from April 24 to April 27 and earned 23 responses, five less than the previous midterm poll. In this poll, the Ministry of Communications doubled its satisfaction rating to earn the highest spot among all ministries, while other ministries' ratings decreased in comparison to the midterm poll. Read more about it below!

President, Vice President, and Overall Satisfaction

Overall Executive - 91.3%

Forms response chart. Question title: How satisfied are you with the performance of the Executive Branch as a whole?. Number of responses: 23 responses.
Rough start, smooth end. Good term all in all
Despite the resignations has been working remarkably well
Overall good term, despite the resignations most ministries did a good job

The executive as a whole achieved a satisfaction rating of 91.3%, which is a high increase from the midterm poll's 78.6%. The vast majority of positive respondents were simply satisfied, although it's worth noting the amount of very satisfied opinions rose from 17.9% to 21.7%. There was also one respondent who was neutral and one who was disappointed. The three provided comments mentioned that the Executive overcame some difficulties throughout the term and praised the performance, with the high number of resignations perhaps being the reason as to why many respondents opted for the "Satisfied" rather than the "Very Satisfied" option.

President Calvin - 82.6%

Forms response chart. Question title: How satisfied are you with the performance of President Calvin Coolidge?. Number of responses: 23 responses.
Calvin has done a good job, he has been open and communicative and handled the bumps on the road nicely.
Calvin seems to know what he came in to do. He's been pretty effective in seeing that through
Calvin is good
Great job and activity, important traits of a President

President Calvin earned a satisfaction rating of 82.6%, slightly lower than the overall Executive. However, this was still an increase in comparison to Calvin's 78.6% rating in the midterm poll. The results were similar to those of the Executive, with both questions having the same amount of very satisfied respondents. The main difference was the number of neutral and dissatisfied opinions, with Calvin having one more than the Executive for each of those categories. None of the dissatisfied respondents chose to voice their concerns in the comments. The four people that did put a comment forward all approved the president's performance, with one comment notably stating that Calvin "has been open and communicative and handled the bumps on the road nicely."

Vice President Istillian - 91.3%

Forms response chart. Question title: How satisfied are you with the performance of Vice President Istillian?. Number of responses: 23 responses.
Quite the vice peen. VPs are often criticized because they seemingly don't do a lot but I think Isto was able to overcome that hurdle nicely
Istillian is a great communicator

Just like in the midterm poll, the vice president returned a higher satisfaction rating than the president. Vice President Istillian's rating increased from 85.7% in the previous poll to 91.3%, equalling the overall Executive's rating. However, it's worth noting that Istillian achieved a higher amount of very satisfied responses than both the President and the Executive, as well as no dissatisfied and just two neutral opinions. The two comments may help explain these results, with one of them citing communication as a great characteristic of Istillian, and the other stating vice presidents "are often criticized because they seemingly don't do a lot" but Istillian overcame that challenge.

Ministries Satisfaction: Similarly to the previous end of term poll, the ministries were listed in descending order of performance and alphabetically when ties occurred.

Ministry of Communications - 87%
Minister of Communications Klatonia - 91.3%

Klat has done tremendous work and I am just amazed
Better end to the term!
Really picked up the slack since Klat became minister. Really organized
Wow. I will admit I very much doubted Klatonia when he was nominated but boy was I wrong! Klatonia, you're amazing!!
Klatonia has aced it
Very poggers
Katonia has managed to right the ship. Would be interested to see where they go if given room to innovate.

Despite being the lowest ranked ministry in the midterm poll, the Ministry of Communications and its minister Klatonia managed to overcome this drawback. The ministry itself more than doubled its satisfaction rating between the polls, with a 42.9% in the previous poll turning into a 87%, transforming it into the currently highest ranked ministry. The current Minister Klatonia earned an even higher satisfaction rating of 91.3%, compared to McEntire, who resigned halfway through the term and only achieved a 17.8% rating. Furthermore, over half of respondents opted for the "Very Satisfied" option when evaluating both Klatonia and their ministry. The seven comments seem to confirm a strong support for the current ministry leadership, although there was one respondent dissatisfied with the minister that chose to not comment.

Europeian Republican Navy - 82.6%
Grand Admiral Peeps - 87%

Forms response chart. Question title: How satisfied are you with the performance of Grand Admiral Peeps?. Number of responses: 23 responses.
Maybe not as active as last term but it is really good
I liked the fash bashing a lot, also the Pichtonia ovation tag raid was just *chefs kiss*
PogPeeps

The Europeian Republican Navy was the second highest ranked ministry in this poll with a 82.6% satisfaction rating. Grand Admiral Peeps earned one more satisfied comment, thereby achieving a rating of 87%. The responses were the same except for this difference, with two dissatisfied opinions given for both the Navy and the Grand Admiral. The Navy's approval reduced slightly from the midterm poll's 89.3%, although Peeps' approval rose from 82.1% to 87%. All three comments were supportive, with one comment praising operations such as the refounding of The Coalition of Fascist Nations and the tag raid for Pichtonia's ovation. Another comment mentioned that Peeps' term was less active than the previous one led by Kazaman, although the commenter also said "it is really good."

Ministry of Radio - 73.9%
Minister of Radio Darkslayer - 73.9%

Not sure if all the goals set out have been accomplished
Dark is *not* the absolute worst.

The Ministry of Radio and its Minister Darkslayer both returned the same satisfaction rating of 73.9%. Furthermore, their approval rating proportions were also exactly the same, with both of them earning four very satisfied responses and two dissatisfied ones. However, these satisfaction levels are lower than the midterm poll's 85.7% rating for both the ministry and its minister, and the amount of very satisfied opinions was reduced by half. The comments may help explain this decrease, with one expressing uncertainty "if all the goals set out have been accomplished," and another stating neither satisfaction nor dissatisfaction with the minister. After former Minister Xecrio's early resignation, it seems that the ministry has continued to release shows, although this may have been hindered by Darkslayer's recent leave of absence, leaving some room for improvement in the next term.

Ministry of World Assembly Affairs - 69.6%
Minister of World Assembly Affairs Seva - 65.2%

Seems less active than with Maowi but still great
WAAnderful

The Ministry of World Assembly Affairs has the fourth best satisfaction rating of 69.6%, with its Minister Seva having one less satisfied response. Interestingly, Minister Seva has a higher amount of very satisfied responses, but also two dissatisfied ones in comparison with the ministry's zero. Both the ministry and its minister's rating decreased from the midterm poll's 78.6%, which happened just after former Minister Maowi and former Deputy Minister Baobab's resignations. This unfortunate development resulted in a temporary halt in activity. One comment stated that the term seemed "less active than with Maowi but still great." The other comment approved the ministry's work under Seva, which includes the consistent release of Information for Voters posts guiding WA members on how to vote for resolutions.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs 65.2%
Minister of Foreign Affairs Monkey - 65.2%

Seems a little slow in the latter half

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and its Minister Monkey both achieved a rating of 65.2%, a significant decrease from the midterm poll's 78.6% and the previous end of term poll's 80.8%, during which the ministry was also headed by Monkey. Just like their World Assembly counterpart Seva, Monkey earned a higher amount of very satisfied responses but also more dissatisfied ones than the ministry. While several comments on the midterm poll praised the ministry's activity and engagement with other regions, the sole comment provided stated that the ministry seemed "a little slow in the latter half." This may be the reason for the decrease in the ministry's overall satisfaction rating.

Ministry of Culture - 60.9%
Minister of Culture UPC - 60.9%

Good work but can seem a little disorganized at times
I personally liked the themed weeks and the NASPAQ cards program!
UPC has shown himself as a proper culture daddy. The cards program seems to be a great success.
Ovation was really flubbed up. Poor pre-planning, little execution, and just lacked the excitement of previous ones. And of course, what in the world happened to Weekend Games?
Weekend games have completely stopped with no explanation why, cards is just there and the ovation was sloppy with poor planning and advertisement.

With a satisfaction rating of 60.9%, the Ministry of Culture had the second lowest rating in this poll, above only the Interior and Justice ministries tied for last. Minister UPC also did not fare well, with their approval rating of 60.9% tying Attorney General for last among the ministers. Furthermore, the ministry achieved the unfortunate record of having the highest number of dissatisfied opinions, with four for the ministry and five for UPC, including three people who opted for the "Very Dissatisfied" option in both questions. The divided comments can help shed a light on the reasons behind these results: two comments were supportive, mentioning the success of the recently launched NASPAQ cards program, whose managing director was UPC even before Rotasu's resignation. One comment was ambivalent, praising the ministry's work but also criticizing disorganization. The other two commenters posted negative opinions, noting a lack of Weekend Games during the term and "poor planning and advertisement" for Pichtonia's ovation.

Ministry of Interior - 56.5%
Minister of Interior GrandfatherClock - 73.9%

GC? More like, good cjob

The Ministry of Interior's satisfaction rating of 56.5% tied with its Justice counterpart for the lowest in the poll, with a significant decrease from the midterm poll's 75%. However, it's interesting to note the discrepancy between the ministry and its Minister GrandfatherClock's ratings: not only does GrandfatherClock tie with Minister of Radio Darkslayer for the third highest approval rating in this poll, but they also have more than triple the number of the Ministry of Interior's very satisfied responses. Besides that, the graphs are similar, both having one dissatisfied, one very dissatisfied, and one indifferent responses. The only comment seems to approve of the ministry's work this term, which included the weekly recruitment lotteries that sought to reverse the recent population slump in the region.

Ministry of Justice - 56.5%
Attorney General Lloenflys - 60.9%

Not really much to do but it gets done when it needs to
There's really nothing much to say for or against the MoJ

The Ministry of Justice received a satisfaction rating of 56.5%, down from 67.9% in the midterm poll. Attorney General Lloenflys' rating also decreased in comparison to the last poll, from 78.6% to 60.9%. The ministry and its attorney general usually receive a high amount of "Neutral" or "No Opinion" responses because its activity depends on the Senate, and this continued during this term with eight and seven neutral responses for the ministry and the attorney general respectively. There were also one dissatisfied and one very dissatisfied opinion, although none of them voiced their concerns in the comments. One comment stated that there's "not really much [for the ministry] to do but it gets done when it needs to," and the other said that there wasn't really anything to say for or against the Ministry of Justice.

Cabinet Picks for Next Term

After the satisfaction questions, respondents were asked for their opinion on whether any incumbent Cabinet member should return next term, as well as ideas for new Cabinet members. The question only included the incumbent ministers, disregarding the ones who resigned during this term. Klatonia earned the most support of any minister, with 19 responses stating they would like to see the minister of communications to return. Other strong contenders for returning were Minister of Interior GrandfatherClock and Grand Admiral Peeps. Meanwhile, Minister of Foreign Affairs Monkey and Minister of World Assembly Affairs Seva had the least support, with 10 and 9 respondents supporting them respectively. Furthermore, no respondent wanted to see an entirely new Cabinet, unlike the last end of term poll in which two people chose the "none of the above" option. Regarding new Cabinet member suggestions, Pland Adanna was by far the most suggested citizen, four times for World Assembly Affairs and once for Communications. Le Libertie and Lime were also suggested more than once, for Interior and Communications respectively. There were no suggestions for Culture, Justice, and the Navy. The full list of suggestions can be seen below:

Interior: Le Libertie (2)
Radio: Kharn (1), Lime (1)
Communications: Lime (2), SkyGreen (1), Pland Adanna (1)
Foreign Affairs: Lime (1)
World Assembly Affairs: Pland Adanna (4), SkyGreen (1)
Unspecified Ministry: SkyGreen (1)
