GraVandius Wins Citizen Assembly Chair Election

GraVandius Wins Citizen Assembly Chair Election
Written by Snowball

In a recent Assembly Chair election, GraVandius won over fellow opponent Vlaska. GraVandius managed to secure 21 votes to Vlaska’s 15, winning the election by a clear margin.

GraVandius ran on a platform of reforming and revamping the Legislative Training Center which had fallen dormant under former Chair Calvin’s term. The LTC fell dormant following a policy change from Calvin Coolidge regarding the state of the LTC, promising to reform the program into an education center for Europeia’s newcomers. Assembly Chair GraVandius promised to continue this reform across his term.

The Elections saw a seemingly low interest from the electorate, due to possible fallout from many Europeian’s being pulled to other obligations in their real life. Neither candidate managed to crack 200 views on their platform thread. Most citizens seemed disinterested in the state of the Citizens’ Assembly, with only 36 people voting in the election. This was, however, only a 1 person drop from the last Chair Election.

Having secured the majority, GraVandius will now be serving his third term as Assembly Chair. With experience behind him, many citizens are optimistic of what the future holds.
