Grand Admiral Townhall

Grand Admiral Townhall

Grand Admiral Calvin Coolidge has finished his townhall, with questions ranging from The Tag raid controversy to the recent operation in Japan.

Tag raiding was put on the spotlight after Senator Festavio questioned the current ERN practices. Calvin was asked about this by Vac, and responded, saying that
he gets where the argument is coming from, but believes that the current ERN policy is fine. Calvin also stated that the experience gained from those raids is the same as the experience gained in tag raids. He stated that it is the same process to raid in every target.

Calvin alluded to plans with the Culture ministry that may include splitting the ERN into two teams. Speculation into what this may be has already begun.

Calvin had a lot to say about the recent operation in Japan. He said that the forces just were not to stop the unprecedented amount of defenders. He said that the biggest takeaway for this op is that raiders now need more numbers to be able to successfully carry out an operation. He blamed the timing and his absence from the raid as contributing factors to the raids demise. Because of this raid, Calvin said that the new "safe number" for endorsements is 50 for future operations. The “safe number” is the number of endorsements the President or Grand Admiral believes is necessary to secure the delegacy for an operation.

President Writinglegend has been pushing this term for people to join the ERN, and it looks like the effort has had a good start. Calvin said that one to two people have joined every day, which he called a "good response."

To clarify, the "safe number" was for hold operations, not every operation. Good summary, otherwise.
