Europeia Hosts Huge Cultural Event

June of each year marks Pride, an event where people from all over come to celebrate the diversity of everyone everywhere, especially in the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) community. Pride has been a huge event for many years, full of celebrations, marking Stonewall and the riots that set people in the LGBT community free. Unfortunately, unforeseen circumstances prevent many of us from celebrating out in the open, although this does not mean we cannot have some fun.
Europeia’s Ministry of Culture has commenced work on EuroPride, a fun-filled event full of games, speeches, and artwork. Forum-side, EuroPride will be an additional part of the event, though many NationStates (NS) players from all over have come to the dedicated EuroPride server to join in all the fun.
The event will commence on June 8 and will run for one week, with plenty of time for all those involved to share their stories, listen to speeches, and learn from each other. There is a dedicated discord server for this event, where many NS players have gathered to chat. When the event officially begins, those in the EuroPride server will be able to share artwork, music, take part in roleplay, and have a small taste of Europeian life by partaking in weekend games.
The server is not the only place with all the fun and games, however. Europeia will be opening a subforum on the forums for Europeians to share content inspired by Pride. Everyone will be able to listen to passionate speeches, share their own stories, and for those who want to learn more about the LGBT community, or pride itself, there is a bibliography of resources for all to use and learn from.
EuroPride is set to be a huge, cultural, and successful event. With so many things planned, it will be hard to keep a tab on everything. No matter what, it is safe to say that many are extremely excited about this event that has been hyped up for some time now. As Europeia prepares to gear up for the biggest event of the year so far, many will be hoping for it to be a success.
