Halloween in the Forums
In the spirit of Halloween, the Europeian forum administrators have adapted the forums to include ghosts and other spooky entities during the Halloween period. The Ministry of Culture has been running a festival with spooky spam-games, a forum scavenger hunt, and more - head over there to find out for yourself! There is also an ongoing avatar and signature competition as well as a suitably eerie roleplay put out by Deputy Minister of Culture Hezekon.

Citizen Registry
The citizen registry was published this week. This is essentially a census to notify citizens in danger of losing their citizenship. Citizens who find themselves with their name in red should speak to a person of authority to get it fixed.

Z-Day
The Zombie apocalypse is upon us. Citizens may choose to take part in this death war or simply watch their population decline. Citizens have three options: they may choose to destroy, cure or embrace the zombies. More information can be found on Nation-States and in the dedicated discord channel.

Interviews with Prim and HEM
Prim and HEM have both given in-depth interviews about their time in Europeia, giving an insight into their time in the region and what is to come in the future. Prim, Europeia's outgoing chief of state, was interviewed by the Europeian Broadcasting Corporation (EBC), reflecting on his term, while, HEM, interviewed by Calvin Coolidge for the Organisation of Independent Media, spoke about his platform for the upcoming chief of state election.

Foreign Affairs
Sopo released an article this week for the E-News Network, in which he argued that foreign affairs is not hard, and considered the apparent reluctance of citizens to take the plunge into foreign affairs. Citizens who are interested in representing Europeia elsewhere may get in contact with councillor of foreign affairs, Darcness.

Istillian's Horror Story
In the spirit of Halloween, The Cult of the Oxford Comma was released this week as a horror story involving a mysterious cult concerned with the promotion of good grammar throughout Europeia. Citizens who are interested in this should get in touch with Hierophant Kuramia.

Brí Shakespeare Incident
Brí Shakespeare has been forced to step down as minister of recruitment following a significant breach. This may be due to lack of activity and also lack of public transparency in the work that was done. The breach was a violation of the Criminal Code section 14, subsection 5. There is still much more work to be done on this by Europeia and the EBC intends to keep citizens informed.

Chief of State Poll
Citizens took to the opinion poll, run by the E-News Network, this week in regards to the imminent chief of state election, in which two tickets - HEM/Pichtonia and JayDee/Darcness - have already stood. The elections will take place on November 5. Just over 50 percent of people said that they would support Pichtonia and the HEM/Pichtonia chief of state ticket. A majority of citizens also stated that they were satisfied with the candidates for chief of state.

Recruitment
GraVandius released an article for the Europeian Research Institute, discussing the skip rates between recruitment telegrams sent out. He was inspired to investigate this by Brí Shakespeare's recent removal from the Cabinet, and, in the accompanying article, discussed what should be an acceptable skip rate for manual recruiters, and methods of ensuring skipped telegrams were not included in the final aggregate.

World Assembly
"Repeal: Condemn The Black Hawks" and "Promoting Natural Sciences in Schools" were two proposals put forward by members of the World Assembly this week. The information for voters releases have been put out and the Council of World Assembly Affairs recommends an Against vote and a For vote for the respective proposals.

Integration Reward Meter
After much anticipation, Astrellan has announced the release of the Integration Reward Meter. This is a system that is based on points and ranks and is designed to get people more involved and integrated into regional life.

Announcement by the Minister of Recruitment
Minister of Recruitment Maowi has released a short notice in regards to recruitment. The main thing to pull out from this is that Maowi shall be aided by her deputy ministers Malashaan and Bowzin in her endeavours.

Minister of Communications Announcement
New Minister of Communications Istillian released a statement this week, in which he told citizens who would be taking on various roles. Xecrio will head "At Home in Europeia". Malashaan and Kuramia to will head "A Little Legalese" and "Beyond The Borders" respectively. Lastly, Maowi will head "Inside Government".

Nice work Xecrio! These updates are getting better every time, you've developed a knack for succinctly reporting on the region's events! Thank you!

Great job, Xecrio!

A good write up but could someone center the header before I spontaneously combust.
I think it's a great look. It should become the standard for all future articles.

left then center then left (header image, title, body) is janky. center-center-left, or left-left-left would be fine. That said, awesome article!
