Chief of Staff Inaugural Address
Chief of State Pichtonia released his inaugural address as the council of state term officially began. Pichtonia discusses his time in Europeia so far, what makes a good region, and outlined plans for each department.

Executive Scope Order Referendum
On February 14, Drecq initiated a petition to host a referendum on the executive order scope amendment. The petition got 7 signatures and is now undergoing a 76 hour debate period before it is put to the citizenry.

Articles from the EBC
The Europeian Broadcasting Corporation released a couple of articles this week, the first of which came from Maowi, who discussed "Levels of In-Character Ness." The article discusses the General Assembly and how regional character is representative of the votes. The second article came from Xecrio who interviewed Pichtonia about his time in Europeia. More specifically from citizen to Chief of State. The EBC also provided coverage of the resignation of first minister Maowi, and her replacement in Sopo, who nominated Dax and Calvin Coolidge to take the position of second minister and minister of the interior respectively.

Activity in Private Media
The Panda's Pen released an article discussing the lack of activity in Arnhelm and how it can be improved. The second article came from the Europeian Research Institute. The article discussed previous EuroChoice awards, as Europeia prepares to vote for winners of EuroChoice.

EuroChoice Awards
Europeian citizens have been nominating their fellow citizens for EuroChoice 2019. The Organisation of Independent Media (OIM} nominated Dax, Maowi, Rand, Lloen, Drecq and Sopo for Citizen of the year.

Executive Updates
The Ministry of Communications launched a new competition, where citizens are competing against each other to see who can write the most creative short story. Xecrio also revealed that dispatches are now under the control of the Council of External Communications. Minister of Culture Olde Delaware, announced that Eggay would serve as deputy for this term.
