First Minister Inaugural Address
As Calvin Coolidge's first week as first minister came to an end, he released his inaugural address, in which he discussed the successes of each ministry and his work on his and second minister, Rachael's, platform. He also discussed how now that everyone is masked, there will be more successes to arrive in the coming weeks.

Senate By Election
The Senate by-election came to a close earlier this week, after a seemingly calm runoff between Bowzin and Xecrio. The Europeian News Network (ENN) predicted that the most likely outcome would be Bowzin with the win on 58.82 percent and Xecrio on 41.18 percent. The prediction was more or less spot on, with only a 0.68 percent positive difference in favour of Bowzin who eventually won the election with 22 votes compared to Xecrio's 15.

Minister of Communications Resigns
Minister of Communications Istillian resigned from his post on Tuesday December 4. Istillian revealed that he had real life issues to tend to which would not allow him enough time to dedicate to Europeia. Xecrio has been nominated as the new minister of communications by the first minister and is currently undergoing the confirmation process in the Senate.

Aexnidaral's Article
Aexnidaral released an article for his private media outlet, Aex's Grumps, this week, that focused on the prospect of gerrymandering. The article discusses how in the USA, both the Democrats and Republicans have performed well in gerrymandering state districts to capture various voter demographics. Aexnidaral made 3 maps for 3 states, Florida, Oregon and Maryland. The maps represented gerrymandering in favour of the Democrats, in favour of the Republicans, and one demonstrating a neutral gerrymander.

Euro Jeopardy Returns
After a year and a half, the Ministry of Culture has decided to bring Euro Jeopardy back into the rota of weekend games. The information thread gives key details for the game and where it will be played.
