First Minister Elections
Much of this past week has been adorned with the excitement that comes with election time. Cuddles, Olde Delaware, Calvin Coolidge (Calvin), and DictatorAnna10 (Dax) battled in debates, releasing their own platforms to persuade the electorate to vote for them. The first round, after a slight mishap, did not have the re-open elections option and so the round had to go again. Dax and Calvin received 17 and 19 votes respectively, meaning that they advanced onto the run-off. For much of this, it was assumed that Dax would win, seeing how she was edging out in front of Calvin right until the end of the election, when final votes were cast to make it a tie with 21 votes each. In accordance to Europeian law, the Senate will decide the outcome. The senate finished voting on Saturday, resulting in a 5-4 vote in Calvin and Rachael's favor.

GraVandius' Article
To help the first minister candidates with their campaigning GraVandius released a guide on how to get in contact with voters. The guide gave advice about starting off with the citizens registry, to initiating a conversation with the voter to persuade them to vote a certain way. In what has been an exciting week for election campaigns, each candidate did appear to utilise this particular method.

The Arnhelm Review
The Arnhelm Review provided a review in light of the first minister elections. After the debate in which candidates debated their stances on certain regional issues, The Arnhelm Review provided an analysis on how well each candidate performed. The review stated that Calvin and Olde Delaware won the debate but that Calvin edged out on top. The review considers candidate stance on recruitment, communications and minister accountability, with each candidate receiving a score out of ten for how well they performed in every area.

ENN Poll Results
This week, the Europeian News Network (ENN) conducted a poll to see how popular each first minister candidate was in the run-up to the election and to see which candidate the electorate would vote for. Calvin came out on top in the poll, with 43 percent in the poll not allowing undecided responses, which is a 23 percent increase since the last poll was taken. Dax came second with 39 percent of the electorate suggesting they would vote that way.

As the current term draws to a close, a poll was conducted to see how satisfied citizens of Europeia were with the executive and its various departments this past term. Overall 52.4 percent of voters said that they were satisfied with the electorate as a whole. The poll also mentions satisfaction on each ministerial departments. First Minister approval ratings were very high, with 90.5 percent of voters indicating that they were satisfied with the work done in the past term.

Outgoing Minister of Communications Istillian awarded Prim and Maowi with a silver pen, and Xecrio with a golden pen, for their hard earned work in the Ministry of Communications.
