Europeia's Big Brother - Season One Applications

Hello everyone!

I will be starting a new roleplay similar to that of Survivor, but of a different reality television show from the United States. It is my hope that this game can keep our roleplay unique and exciting, while reinforcing the mystique of Survivor.

For those unfamiliar with Big Brother, it is a reality game show in the United States where sixteen players are put in a house, watched on "live-feeds", and compete in daily competitions to nominate and evict house-guests one by one (no live-feeds, sorry!). Whereas Survivor is a more strategic game, Big Brother is a more social one. For that reason, I am hoping that this season of Big Brother will bring lots of excitement!

There are two competitions within the Big Brother house that you should be familiar with. There is a Head of Household competition and a Power of Veto competition. These two games define the format for each 'week' in the house.

The first competition each week is the Head of Household. The Head of Household is the individual in control for nominations that cycle. He/She is responsible for nominating two HouseGuests for eviction by putting them 'on the block'. The Head of Household would not be able to compete in the following week's Head of Household competition, meaning that a HouseGuest could not hold the title for two weeks in a row, except for the final week. All HouseGuests excluding the Head of Household and nominees later vote to determine which of the two nominees should be evicted, and the nominated HouseGuest who received the most votes is evicted during a live episode (meaning -- a HoH does nominate for eviction, but in the end only votes in a tie-breaker and must do so publicly).

The second competition each week is the Power of Veto. Six individuals will compete in the Power of Veto competition -- the two nominated houseguests, the Head of Household, and three randomized picks. The winner of the Power of Veto competition has the ability to 'veto one of the nominees' meaning they can remove someone from the block and force the Head of Household to nominate a separate individual in their place -- or they can simply not use it and keep nominations the same.

At the end of each cycle, one of the nominated houseguests will be evicted from the house and removed from the game. There will be a Jury, and the Jury will ultimately choose the winner (this is a game where there is a final two, not a final three).

Please apply below by posting your username. I hope to have sixteen individuals playing this first season. Most competitions will be 24 hours, although I will likely add live competitions at times. It is my wish to begin the middle of next week.

I don't know anything about Big Brother and haven't read the post yet, but I want to be in on the fun anyway.
