Senate Happenings
Another eventful week in the Senate saw even more discussion about the Executive Modernisation Omnibus Bill, with almost two hundred replies on the respective thread. In addition, the Repeal of the Constitutional Convention Act of 2018 was moved to a second reading.

Arnhelm Activity
Forilian was elected on the June 2020 mayoral election, getting twelve votes against SkyGreen24's seven, while two other people voted to re-open elections. Arnhelm has also seen many ideas this week, including the Arnhelm Crisis, a project created by Monkey. Moreover, former Mayor Peeps has been nominated to receive the Star of Arnhelm for their work during their two terms as mayor.

Recruitment Update
Minister of Interior McEntire released the first recruitment update of the month! In total, all recruiters sent nearly 7,000 telegrams. Furthermore, the May Madness tournament is close to an end, as Team Y'all and Team Swift won their respective semi-finals and will now have a fierce match to decide the winner.

Europeian Research Institute
Within the European Research Institute (ERI), GraVandius released an interesting research piece on the retention rate of Europeian citizens after the new nation boom, that happened in late April. Unfortunately, it seems many of these new citizens haven't stayed for long, but we can surely say we gained a few people currently very engaged in regional affairs!

Region of the Week
Councilor of Coordination Peeps has announced a two week hiatus for the Region of the Week program, as a result of two festivals - namely Paradoxical'2.0 and EuroPride - happening during this time frame. However, the announcement also stated that, following the hiatus, exciting events as part of this program are to come!
