Europeia Nightly News: Wednesday Edition

(Europeia - March 28, 2018) - President HEM announced the dismantling of the Civil Service (CSO) on the ninth anniversary of its creation. A central location for newcomers to apply for service in the Executive, the CSO has seen many different versions of reform, from consistent use to near abandonment. The downward trend has been more recently felt with the decentralization of ministry applications two terms ago.

Today, President HEM finally put an end to institution, saying, "This administration has no intentions to reutilize [the Civil Service] as an institution and feels it should be put to rest. Minister of Interior Comrade Prim is preparing to move any still relevant threads in the forum to other locations, and flagging certain resources that need to be updated."

In yet another divergence from tradition, EBC Radio has announced its first show of the term: Choose Your Own Adventure with Calvin Coolidge and Sopo. A more casual broadcast than the usual presidential address, Minister Calvin Coolidge defended the virtue of such a starting point. "This is a new format we're testing out that merges the replayability of a dramatic reading with the 'game' of choosing an adventure, so we will be gathering valuable information on this type of show for future broadcasts." Dramatic Reading broadcasts with these two particular radio personalities have been wildly popular in the past, so it appears EBC Radio wants to start the term out with a bang. Remember, Choose Your Own Adventure starts tonight at 7 p.m. PDT on EBC Radio.

This is Darcness with your Wednesday Edition of Europeia Nightly News, signing off.

Was this posted as a dispatch, as a dispatch on the RMB and on our NS forum topic as well?
No. The Nightly News format is still fairly experimental, and the current vision will often include news that is not worthy of inter-regional dispersal. There is also the matter of the tri-weekly cadence, which will turn our Dispatches, RMB, and NS forum topics into so much noise.

We are considering a collation of the important stories into a weekly Dispatch, however.
