Today Whitmark celebrated it's most heated presidential elections and welcomed the collapse of the two-party system. Both the People's Party and the Socialist Party recieved a major loss compared to the previous election. Exit polls showed Van Oranje first place was due to his strong support among young people with 44% to 28% to the Socialist Ollongren. Cities also voted for the Green Party candidate by a whopping 55% compared to the 25% for the Socialist candidate. Van Oranje accumulated most of his most support in the populated state of Noord-Holland, home of the countries capital, Amsterdam. Brussels and Luxembourg, were among other important places where the Green Party candidate recieved first place. Meanwhile rural country favored the People's Party and Party for Freedom candidates.

Ollongren - 24,3%
Kant - 12,9%
De Wever - 7.1%
While the campaign remained heated up until the last moment, in his speech after claiming the first place, Van Oranje called the parties that did not make it to the run off to support him for the run off against Rutte. With polls showing the presidency in a dead-heat for the upcomming run off. Gallup has the race 46% tied for each candidate, while Ipsos has Rutte up by 2%. Zogby Analtics has 0.9% for Rutte. While other polls have similar results.
Rutte recieved a phone call from Far Right De Wever's offering her endorsement for the run off, given the multiple and harsh attacks between Van Oranje and De Wever in debates. In her concession speech De Wever asked her supporters to support Rutte, because "Van Oranje has a horrible vision for our principles and country".
Stay tuned for the run off
