BREAKING: All Ongoing Election Results Could Be Made Public
The Senate is debating a motion by Senator Forilian to make all ongoing election results public at all time

(April 3, 2021) – This past Wednesday, Senator Forilian presented the Public Runoff Results Amendment (2021) on the Senate floor. This would amend the Elections Act (2021) to make "[t]he voting tally of any election [...] publicly viewable while the vote in ongoing." (Senator Forilian's original Public Runoff Result Amendment of 2021)

Supreme Chancellor Lethen made an appearance on the Senate floor to inform the Legislature that neither he nor Vice-Chancellor Drecq could "[...] for the life of us think of a time we'd need to have private polls/results." (Supreme Chancellor Lethen, 3 March 2021)

As the first reading winds down, the Senate seems poised to pass the Amendment as a "temporary fix" (Senator Forilian's comment and Senator Sanjurika's comment) or a "quick fix" (Senator Malashaan's comment) that would set the table for a broader discussion about the Elections Act (2021).
