[At Home In Europeia] The Yule Ball - A Recap

Europeia's Yule Ball
A Recap

Europeia's Festivity
Last December, Europeia's Ministry of Culture held an event called Europeia's Yule Ball. It was an opportunity for Europeian citizens and our foreign allies to get together and enjoy themselves preceding Christmas. Spam games, house points, and weekend games all played a significant role in making the Yule Ball a delightful experience.

The Beginning
The Yule Ball began on December 22. The idea began in the Ministry of Culture with Dax and her team, establishing an independent server and creating various activities for citizens to partake in. As citizens arrived in the server, they were sorted into one of four houses: Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin. Once sorted, citizens could get involved in one of the many activities available. Participants weren't required to join a house, however joining one would provide a more enjoyable experience.

The Activities
Both in the Discord server and on the forums there were plenty of things to do. One of the most popular games was the Hogwarts House Spam Points. Ravenclaw gathered the most spam points sailing high above the rest with 140 points. Gryffindor claimed second place with 83 points while Hufflepuff followed closely behind with 74. Slytherin managed to gain a measly 8 spam points for their house, but there was luckily much more to be done.

On the forum, the festivities included threads that would show the kindness of Europeians, giving gifts and deciding which Christmas tree topper the above poster would be. There was also a Nation States Christmas song and a Christmas meme thread.

On the server, there was more fun to be had. Weekend games made an appearance, with trivia and Skribbl.io being quite popular games. Participants could also play games with the server bots and roleplay as a member of their Hogwarts house. Needless to say, there was plenty to do.

Everything Ends, And It's Always Sad
Sadly, as the Christmas season drew to a close, the Yule Ball did also, concluding on December 31st. The Yule Ball was a fantastic way to bring Europeians and our allies together for the end of the decade. While this festivity has ended, there are sure to be many more to come.

Cool summary Nate!
