I noted in Eurochat that it appears that Lloen and Sopo are likely splitting the same base of supporters, and those supporters would consolidate heavily against McEntire/Mal in the runoff. I suspect that the most likely result in McEntire making the runoff but losing to whichever other candidate...

Presumably, 8 of the 29 voters (~27%) are the candidates themselves, which might explain the high count of committed voters.

The exact opposite, actually! We have an incredible amount of activity and newer players often find it difficult to get started or move up.

In fairness to the voting thing, I didn't realize all that had happened in February when I brought the topic up and out of respect for the compromise it has not been brought before the senate again because I realize it is a contentious issue. So that isn't something the senate is currently...

I just wanted to note in this more public forum, as I have on the senate thread itself, that I am against the creation of this committee and will be voting against it if it comes to a vote. I align myself with the positions of Prim & Drecq that this is likely worst useless and at best harmful...

Ya know, when I brought this up to Monkey on a quiet day on Eurochat a few weeks ago, I never anticipated that it would come to this. I'm so happy it did, though - I'm absolutely going to start asking more divisive questions in the future now lol

I can say that I am quite torn, and probably won't make my decision until Saturday. I don't think I'm alone in being torn. I wouldn't be surprised if a) people start voting strategically to get the race to be tied for drama or b) one candidate starts to run-away with it and all the undecideds...

My colorblind eyes can't read the chart, but I assume it says that I am going to win :P

I think it's hilarious that the only time in my decade+ of being here that I was a minister, I was Minister of Finance of all things. Almost certainly because some idiot wanted to start an economy and I was appointed to spite the plan, given my hatred for NS economies. Also good article 10/10...
