...but you're a citizen and nothing is overriding your mask. You *should* be able to post there.

I'm trying to start a new thread in that forum (so as to apply for an embassy) and it says I don't have permission.

That -should- be a holdover from when we blocked posting/new topics in the embassies, and should be a quick mask fix.

A while waay back; citizens were posting spam in the embassies, and then we had a case of somebody posting a comment that could have been a FA problem and so you took away all posting for a while, and then we added posting in embassies, but apparently not creating new threads back.
