Recruiting Reforms
With the approval of new Interior Minister HEM comes many reforms to the way we Europeians recruit new Europeians. HEM started by removing the old recruiting system due to lack of availability on behalf of its creator, Alarm Siren, whom we had come to greatly rely on. Surprisingly, few concerns were raised at the abolishment of the automatic recruiting system.
The new system inaugurated by HEM is largely manual, though benefits from the inclusion of a freeware recruiting tool created via Pipes. (for example, here is The West Pacific pipe) The pipes allow recruiters to easily access a simple list of nations starting with the most recently created nation, making manual recruitment nearly as easy as recruiting with a system. While our regional numbers have been steadily declining, a surge in recruiting under the new method has kept us (albeit temporarily) over the 800 nation mark. Hopefully these new nations will make it onto the forums!
It has never been easier to involve yourself in recruiting- just head over to the Department of Interior and follow the instructions in the various recruiting threads. It is generally best to recruit in the thread with the least amount of recent usage in order to maximize the number of nations available to be recruited. If recruiting isn't your thing, all these new nations will also need to be welcomed. Contact Minister Ogastein to check for openings as a Natural.
